Anna Marchwińska

Poland

She studied at The Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw, Stanford University and The Juilliard School, with such excellent teachers as Bronisław Kawalla, Jerzy Marchwinski, Sam Sanders and Brian Zeger. She is laureate of several international music competitions.

She performed in: Carnegie Hall and Alice Tully Hall (New York), Kennedy Center (Washington, DC), Kimmel Center (Philadelphia), Concertgebouw (Amsterdam), and at festivals such as the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro, the Tanglewood Music Festival, the Chautauqua Festival, the Music Academy of The West in Santa Barbara, the Merola Opera Program in San Francisco. Since 2009 she is invited every year to co-operate with Bregenzer Festspiele. She works with Polish singers:  Ewa Podleś, Małgorzata Walewska, Mariusz Kwiecień, Artur Ruciński.

She joins concert activities with active pedagogy and opera coaching. Between 1997 and 2001 she was a lecturer at The Juilliard School in New York City and worked with the New York City Opera and Metropolitan Opera. She joined the Teatr Wielki–Polish National Opera in 2002, and has been manager of its soloists’ coaches since 2010.

She specializes in chamber music - vocal and instrumental and opera coaching.
